zen'water
zen' water was a project commissioned by Itsu grocery. Zen'water is a range of light, healthy sparkling drinks made with natural flavours. There are 5 flavours in total, each with its own visual identity characterised by bold dynamic illustrations and graphic elements. Zen'water is now available in itsu stores all over the UK as well as in Waitrose.
For each flavour of zen'water I created a series of graphic elements, these were intended to suggest the flavour of each can, without depicting them literally. Drawing inspiration from comic books and animation, the graphic elements feature bold outline and strong colour

Cucumber + Mint
For this can I focused on the shape of mint leaves and on angular flowers. I avoided directly depicting the fruits and other ingredients of each can, and instead focused on communicating the energetic and vibrant nature of the product.

Ginger + Lime
In this can I used two lots on green with flashes of yellow. i wanted to make each can distinct from one another so the green had to be different form the one featured in Cucumber and Mint. I used a spot effect on the background of this an all of the cans, which i think contributed to the graphic, comic book esc look of the design.
